Description

More and more people want to invest in a way that reflects their personal values.

Sustainable investing was seen as a niche sector ten years ago, but it's becoming mainstream. It's also expected to grow considerably over the next few years.

Financial advice firms and investment consultancies that fail to engage with their clients about their values —and creating an investment portfolio that matches those values —will be left behind.

This free event is sponsored by Global Sysytematic Investors and is designed to help firms prepare.

You will learn:

how sustainable investing is bringing about positive change;

— what clients really think about using sustainable funds;

— how advice fims should communicate with clients about values;

— what the evidence says on whether there's a performance penalty to pay; and

— how to combine a sustaniable approach with factor-based investing.

The keynote speaker is DAVID PILLING, Africa Editor for the Financial Times. Andrew is going to be talking about his new book, The Growth Delusion, in which he argues that we need to learn how to value what makes economies better, not just what makes them bigger.

We will also be hearing from Dr JAKE REYNOLDS from the Institute for Sustainability Leadership.

The other speakers are ANDREW CAIN, GARRETT QUIGLEY and BERND HANKE from Global Systematic investors, and MAX TENNANT from Ifamax Wealth Management.

The event will be compered by the financial journalist ROBIN POWELL, best known for his blog, The Evidence-Based Investor.

Spaces are strictly limited.
